City Connections Reflection

-What did you do well on the project?-
I thought I did well on gathering the information. Mostly from my mom and none from Wikipedia, all the facts that were probably true. The pictures were good as well, they were clear (as in 'not blurry'), were related to the words and wasn't something random like putting a banana when writing about historical factors (unless of course your country was a famous world-wide banana plantation) and they also explained a lot with out me having to tell you about it, like a picture of a statue of a man probably meant that you were talking about the emperor of a certain country. I thought the choice of words were good too because I typed just small sentences that probably explained as much as a giant sentence, this didn't keep the audience bored out of their chairs. I put just enough information so that the viewers got enough information about the country and just enough so that the viewers wouldn't fall asleep.

-What would you improve for future presentations/projects?-
I would have improved my presentation skills, when I was showing the slideshow to the whole class. I didn't really keep eye contact with everyone, I was to busy reading off the actual PowerPoint, which was also something I would want to improve. I should have kept eye contact with everyone because that way they (the audience) would here me the most effectively, but was looking at the slides thus, actually talking the the screen. I shouldn't have read off the screen because I look away from the audience and onto the screen so not looking at the audience and reading from the screen would be a Ying-Yang of bad habits when presenting, so I probably should have practiced more. Also, in the actual presentation, I should have added something special to it, like a video or a quiz or something that involved the audience, but I wouldn't worry musch about that.
